Dr. Jed Peterson earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 2006, completed a transitional medicine internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Peterson’s interventional practice includes minimally invasive pain procedures, peripheral vascular interventions, endovascular procedures and interventional oncology. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Peterson offers minimally invasive image-guided options for arterial and venous interventions, dialysis access interventions, cancer treatments, non-surgical treatment options for spontaneous hemorrhages, and pain management. Many of these procedures can be done on an outpatient basis, allowing the patient to resume normal activities without extended recovery. He has served as an assistant professor in interventional radiology at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Dr. Peterson is an expert on minimally invasive image guide procedures.
Dr. Peterson and his wife were both raised in Portland, and are happy to be back in the area. He enjoys traveling with his wife and two children. Camping and hiking are regular summer adventures. Sledding and snowshoeing are activities that he enjoys with his family in the winter.
