Douglas Dawley, MD

Dr. Dawley is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in interventional cardiology. He holds a medical degree from Stanford University and completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Brigham Womens Hospital. During the second year of Dr. Dawley’s residency his father died of a heart attack, which led to him choosing cardiology as a specialty. With more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Dawley has been able to grow up with the practice of cardiology, having a front row seat to the medical and technical advances in this field of care.
Primary prevention is one of Dr. Dawley’s passions. Helping patients stay free from cardiovascular disease by treating risk factors like hypertension, high cholesterol and promoting healthy diet and exercise. This approach is also an important way Dr. Dawley treats patients who have been diagnosed with cardiovascular disease. Dr. Dawley has written several medical articles and provided research on numerous clinical trials. In his spare time he enjoys playing the clarinet, cooking, golf and olive oil production.
